We seek an enthusiastic, committed Coordinator and Nominated Supervisor to help inspire children at our Burke Ward OSHC services in Broken Hill. Burke Ward OSHC is a unique service providing BASC and Vacation Care services to all schools in Broken Hill.

About your new role
- You will design and deliver a safe, effective, and fun OSHC service following Y values

- Have strong written and verbal communication skills to support relationships within the team, with the families and school.
- Be proficient in the use of technology and systems, such as Teams, Outlook, Outlook Calendar, Microsoft Office, and internal management platforms
- Be a strong people manager
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience of and commitment to the safety and well-being of children.
- Experience leading teams.
- Ability to critically reflect to develop innovative learning every day
- Availability to supervise Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care hours
- Ability to work in a team seamlessly.
Qualifications
- A Diploma in Children's Services, or equivalent (Desired)
- Experience as a Coordinator or Nominated Supervisor (Desired)
- Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk CHCPRT025 OR CHCPRT001 (Mandatory)
- Valid NSW Working with Children Check
- HLTAID004 /HLTAID012 - Current First Aid and CPR (Mandatory)
- Police Check (paid for by the Y)
Early and Middle Education Services
Our Children’s Services Teams are the passionate leaders developing young minds to learn, grow and have fun. Across 41 schools in NSW, our team of OSHC Educators and Coordinators provide before and after school (and school holiday) care that’s dedicated to the safety and development of young children. Every day, the team facilitate and run a range of valuable programs and activities that include sport, STEM, creative arts, cooking, and many more. These roles work closely with children, parents, and teachers to provide meaningful opportunities for young people within a healthy, safe and inclusive environment.
