We are now looking for a café assistant to come join our Broken Hill team. We are looking for foodies who are passionate about giving our patrons the best service while delivering great quality food and coffee.
About your new role:
You will work amongst a small team of foodies, which will control, manage and coordinate the Cafe area at our Aquatic centre.
It is essential Cafe Assistants handle food with care and monitor use by dates on all food. Working with the Cafe Coordinator, you will aid in ordering all essential food, which may be required. Cleaning and presentation is expected to be of high standard.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- CPR
- Food Handling certificate (Preferred)
- Previous Café or similar experience

Our Recreation Team is a close-knit community of energetic people-people, with a passion for staying active and helping others. From our Duty Managers and Customer Service Officers, to our Instructors and Coordinators, the team are responsible for transforming our 24 Recreation Centres into warm, inclusive and safe spaces – providing access to health, fitness and recreation opportunities for those who need it most.
