We are currently seeking a permanent full time Café Supervisor to join the team at The Y Integrated Wellness Centre Broken Hill.
About the role:
The Café Supervisor will lead a small team of foodies which will control, manage and coordinate the Café Area at our centre. It is essential that the Café Supervisor handles food with care and monitor use by dates on all food. Leading the team, you will organise the ordering of all essential food which may be required, daily takings reconciliations and financials, assigning daily duties to Café staff while on shift and working closely with the Centre Manager to meet customer needs.
The successful applicant will be available to work a variety of hours across the 7 days of the week. This can include mornings, afternoons and evenings between the hours of 8:00AM and 2:00PM. The successful candidate will also have flexibility to work on Saturdays and Sundays.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- First Aid and CPR certificate
- Food Handling certificate
- Working with Children Check
- Experience in a similar role
- Barista experience (desired)
- Flexibility to work across weekdays and weekends
