Our Lifeguards at Broken Hill Regional Aquatic Centre are a passionate team that are focused on public safety and making sure that our patrons are safe while they use our facility.
About the role
Reporting to the Operations Coordinator, the role will see you work a flexible roster across 7 days between the hours of 5:30am and 230pm Monday to Friday and 6:30am and 8:00pm Saturday and Sunday.
The role will see you actively supervise the pool and surrounding areas, ensuring the environment is safe, clean and enjoyable for all our members and visitors within our centre. You will be responsible for identifying any safety issues and will manage and respond to emergency incidents and related reporting.
About you
You are a self-motivated and customer service focussed individual. You thrive in a fast paced environment and enjoy a challenge. Your superior communication and observation skills, along with your ability to keep calm and act quickly in an emergency situation will see you excel in this role!
You will also come with the following:
- Current First Aid certificate
- Current CPR certificate
- Pool Lifeguard Licence
- Previous experience working at an Aquatic facility (desirable)
