YMCA Caringbah Centre is looking for a dynamic and engaging a casual fitness professional wanting to make a positive impact to the health and wellbeing of their local community.

 

If you are comfortable being the go-to person on our gym floor, taking multiple small group training classes and find it easiy to connect with customer and work with them to achieve greater fitness and wellbeing we are keen to hear from you. 

 

  • A strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and basic nutrition principles. 
  • Ability to design safe and effective workout programs for different goals (e.g., strength, cardio, flexibility, weight loss).
  • Ability to demonstrate exercises with correct form, provide clear and concise verbal cues, and offer appropriate modifications and progressions.
  • High energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to motivate and build rapport with clients and class participants. Must be patient, empathetic, and an active listener.
  • A keen eye for proper form to prevent injuries. Ability to create a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
  • Punctuality, professional appearance, and strong organizational skills for managing schedules and client records.
     

Essentials 

 

  • Certificate III in fitness (Fitness Trainer)
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Current CPR Certificate
  • Current AusREPS Registration
