An exciting opportunity exists for WAG Competitive Coaches and Beginner Gymnastics Coaches to join the team at the Y Caringbah.
 

About the role:

 

We are looking for enthusiastic & passionate WAG competitive coaches to join our growing team at the Y Caringbah. This job role requires you to take on your own competitive squad, where we encourage initiative and new ideas in your programming to help develop our gymnasts reach their goals. 

 

The successful candidates will have previous experience in competitive coaching, be self-driven & motivated to provide a high-quality program in a safe & fun environment. 

 

We are also looking for Beginner Gymnastics Coaches! You will be an essential component in the delivery of YMCA Gymnastics programs and services. Gymnastic Instructors are required to maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of all aspects of YMCA gymnastic programs, educational trends and industry development. The position requires an energetic, motivated person who is not afraid to use his or her own ideas and initiative within their class environment.

 

Must be keen to learn and develop and must be fun and to keep children's wellbeing in mind.

 

To be successful in the WAG role, you will have:

 

  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Intermediate Gymnastics Coach Accreditation (Cert II)
  • Salto Module 1 (advanced or willing to obtain)
  • Current Technical Membership
  • Working with children Check


To be successful in the Beginner Gymnastics Coach role, you will have:

 

  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Beginners online coaching certificate

 


Recreation

Our Recreation Team is a close-knit community of energetic people-people, with a passion for staying active and helping others. From our Duty Managers and Customer Service Officers, to our Instructors and Coordinators, the team are responsible for transforming our 24 Recreation Centres into warm, inclusive and safe spaces – providing access to health, fitness and recreation opportunities for those who need it most.
