We are seeking a casual educator to support children at our OSHC services at Carlingford.
 
 
Our Out-of-School-Hours Educators are the sharp minds and friendly faces inspiring and influencing the next generation of young people. Acting as both teacher and role-model to young students from over 50 NSW Schools, they provide engaging, exciting and interactive activities through our Before School, After School and Vacation Care services. As a member of our OSHC family, you’ll be responsible for the safety and wellbeing of developing young minds, while supporting our OSHC Coordinators to ensure our services stay the very best they can be. You’ll work closely with the children (and their parents), sharing your wisdom, support and passions with them to help them grow.

About your new role
 

  • You will provide fun and engaging activities for primary school age children
  • You will help design a calendar of inclusive, exciting, and engaging program activities
  • Reporting to the Coordinators of our OSHC centres, you will be one of over 200 educators who support children across NSW.
  • You will be able to follow our development pathways to learn new skills and build your career

To be successful in this role, you will have:
 

  • Experience supervising and interacting with children
  • Ability to follow safeguarding priorities
  • Availability to supervise Before School Care,  After School Care and Vacation Care hours
  • Current First Aid HLTAID012 - Provide an emergency response in an education and care setting and CPR
  • Valid Working with Children Check 
  • Police Check (paid for by the Y)

Childcare Services



Our Children Services Team are the passionate leaders giving developing young minds the opportunity to learn, grow and have fun outside of school. Across 47 schools in NSW, our team of OSHC Educators and Coordinators provide before and after school (and school holiday) care that’s dedicated to the safety and development of young children. Every day, the team facilitate and run a range of valuable programs and activities that include sport, creative arts, cooking – and many more. These roles work closely with children, parents and teachers alike, to provide meaningful opportunities for young people within a healthy, safe and inclusive environment.
