This a rare opportunity for an integral support role in recreation, to provide key leadership behind the cold face, support customers and deliver a customer experience for internal and external stakeholders.
 

About the role


You will be responsible for managing administration support processes for 6 sites, including invoice management, accounts payable, stakeholder management, debt management and financial planning.
We are looking for a focused individual with an eye for detail

The successful applicant will be required to work a flexible 30 hour a week roster from 9:00AM - 7:00PM, Monday to Friday, including occasional weekend work based on business needs.

 

To be successful in this role, you will have:


•    Previous experience in administration support roles
•    Recreation knowledge
•    Demonstrated high-level communication skills including written and verbal reporting
•    Knowledge of community recreation
•    Experience in dealing with key stakeholders
•    Experience in financial management
•    Ability to work independently 
•    Able to work across 6 different sites in the support function 
•    Customer service focused (internal and external stakeholders)
•    Ability to use multiple processing platforms to undertake tasks such as invoice management (Accounts payable), debt management (point of sale), banking platforms, refund processes, invoice raising, and invoice management. 
•    Reporting from systems
•    Budget awareness and financial control in line with budgets
•    Membership and support

From our Duty Managers and Customer Service Officers, to our Instructors and Coordinators, the team are responsible for transforming our 24 Recreation Centres into warm, inclusive and safe spaces – providing access to health, fitness and recreation opportunities for those who need it most.
