We are now looking for Swimming instructors to come join the team at Great Lakes Aquatic & Leisure Centre. You will come with a passion for the water and an ability to teach essential skills about swimming. You should have availability to work across mornings and afternoons.


About your new role


Our Swimming Instructors at the Y are a happy bunch, every day they are teaching young people the essential skill of swimming. They love seeing those big wide smiles each day, as the children splash around having fun, while gaining confidence and becoming safe in and around the water.

Approximately 3 million patrons walk through our doors every year to use our facilities throughout NSW and the ACT and it's the best feeling to have knowing that you can leave work at the end of your shift and know that you have protected a life by teaching important life skills as a Swimming Instructor.


What we need from you


  • Current AUSTSWIM / Swim Australia Qualification
  • Working with Children Check
  • CPR Certificate

Our Recreation Team is a close-knit community of energetic people-people, with a passion for staying active and helping others.
