An opportunity now exists for a dynamic and energetic leader with significant experience in the Health and Fitness Industry to join and lead the Health & Fitness team at Gungahlin Leisure Centre.
What we are looking for
We are looking for an outcome driven Health and Fitness Team Leader to join our team. In your new role you will be responsible for assisting in achieving KPI's in line with Business Plan objectives. You will be assisting in the leadership of staff and administration and management of services, programs, facilities and procedures. A key aspect of your role will be your ability to assist with the development, implementation and evaluation of all fitness programs.
You will be self-motivated, open to learn and develop; a team player and values driven. You will show professionalism and respect in your dealings with both staff and our clients.
The successful candidate will have a range of availabilities to work on a rotating roster. Availabilities will range between 5:30AM and 9:30PM (operational hours). Occasional weekend work will be required.
It is essential that you will bring with you:
- Certificate III in Fitness
- Current First Aid certificate
- Current CPR certificate
- Current Fitness Australia Registration

Recreation
Our Recreation Team is a close-knit community of energetic people-people, with a passion for staying active and helping others. From our Duty Managers and Customer Service Officers, to our Instructors and Coordinators, the team are responsible for transforming our 24 Recreation Centres into warm, inclusive and safe spaces – providing access to health, fitness and recreation opportunities for those who need it most.
