Our Out-of-School-Hours Educators are the sharp minds and friendly faces inspiring and influencing the next generation of young people. Acting as both teacher and role-model to young students from over 60 NSW Schools, they provide engaging, exciting and interactive activities through our Before School, After School and Vacation Care services. As a member of our OSHC family, you’ll be responsible for the safety and wellbeing of developing young minds, while supporting our OSHC Coordinators to ensure  our services stay the very best they can be. You’ll work closely with the children (and their parents), sharing your wisdom, support and passions with them to help them grow.

Part Time Roster:

 

This role will be working split shifts between two locations. The shift times and locations are below:

  • Before School Care:

Location: Wamberal OSHC
Hours of work: 7:00AM - 9:00AM

 

  • After School Care:

Location: Kincumber OSHC
Hours of work: 2:30PM - 4:30PM

 

Casual hours:

Various Hours


The Part Time role will be working minimum 10 hours during Vacation Care at Wamberal OSHC as this is our VAC Centre. These 10 hours will be worked outside of the normal 7:00AM - 9:00AM shift times and can be starting as early as 7:00AM and finishing as late at 6:00PM. 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • HLTAID004 Accreditation - ‘Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting’
  • Working with Children Check
  • Police Check (paid for by the Y)
  • CHCPRT001 - 'Identify and respond to children and young people at risk of harm' (desireable)

Childcare Services

Our Children Services Team are the passionate leaders giving developing young minds the opportunity to learn, grow and have fun outside of school. Across 53 schools in NSW, our team of OSHC Educators and Coordinators provide before and after school (and school holiday) care that’s dedicated to the safety and development of young children. Every day, the team facilitate and run a range of valuable programs and activities that include sport, creative arts, cooking – and many more. These roles work closely with children, parents and teachers alike, to provide meaningful opportunities for young people within a healthy, safe and inclusive environment.
