The Y NSW is seeking a dynamic and experienced Swim School Coordinator to lead our swim school programs at KFAC. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a leadership position, values safety and inclusion, and is passionate about helping children and adults build water confidence.
 

🌟 About the Role

As Swim School Coordinator, you’ll:
  • Lead and mentor swim school staff to deliver high-quality swimming lessons and squad programs.
  • Manage rostering, curriculum planning, and student assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with Y NSW policies, safeguarding standards, and WHS regulations.
  • Drive performance excellence through staff development, coaching, and training.
  • Support financial and administrative operations including reporting and program analysis.

 

🎓 Essential Qualifications

  • Current CPR (HLTAID009) and First Aid (HLTAID011) certificates.
  • AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety or equivalent (e.g., Swim Australia Teacher).
  • Valid Working with Children Check (NSW).
  • Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in a similar role.

 

💡 Desirable Extras

  • AUSTSWIM Teacher of Infant and Preschool Aquatics, Adults, or People with Disabilities.
  • Coaching certifications (ASTCA or Swim Australia Foundation Coach).
  • Tertiary qualifications in education, sport, or recreation.
