Our Aquatic Operations Team Leaders are passionate about creating awesome experiences and building strong relationships within the community at our Mt Annan Swimming Pool and Fitness Centre.

 

About the role


Reporting to the Aquatic Operations Coordinator, this role will be required to provide leadership and direction to all lifeguard and cleaning staff, as well as all casual staff in other departments in absence of their direct supervisor. The role will give you the opportunity to build strong customer experiences and lasting relationships with our members and guests. We are open 7 days a week. This position is a fixed roster which may include mornings, afternoon or evening shifts.

 

About you


You are self-motivated and have a passion for customer satisfaction. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy problem solving. Your superior customer service and admin skills along with your ability to build rapport with people will see you excel in this role! 


You will also come with the following:

 

  • Previous experience working in a recreation or leisure centre plant room
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certificate
  • Pool Lifeguard Licence and Aquatic Technical Operations (Pool Ops)
  • AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming & Water safety (highly desirable)

Our Recreation Team is a close-knit community of energetic people-people, with a passion for staying active and helping others. From our Duty Managers and Customer Service Officers, to our Instructors and Coordinators, the team are responsible for transforming our 24 Recreation Centres into warm, inclusive and safe spaces – providing access to health, fitness and recreation opportunities for those who need it most.
