YMCA Mt Annan Leisure Centre are looking for dynamic and engaging fitness professionals who are wanting to make a positive impact to the health and wellbeing of their local community.

 

About the role:

 

Our Fitness Instructors love what they do and inspire, encourage and educate our fitness members to be better versions of themselves. You will be open to working with us on a casual as well as part time basis. We are looking for our Fitness Instructors to progress to Personal Trainers within the first 3 months of their employment with us, with the support of our Health & Fitness Coordinator. With a comprehensive mentoring and induction process, we want to assist you in being the best you can be to impact your local community.

 

For the permannert part time roles, we are looking for someone who can do at least 20.5  hours per week working a flexible roster across mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends as required. For the casual role, we are looking for someone who can work across a 7 day rotating roster.  The Shifts for these roles may include:

 

  • Monday - Friday 
    • 5:30AM - 11:00AM
    • 3:00PM - 6:00PM
    • 3:00PM - 9:00PM

 

  • Saturday & Sunday (Autumn/Winter hours)
    • 7:00AM - 12:00PM
    • 12:00PM - 5:00PM

 

  • Saturday & Sunday (Spring/Summer hours)
    • 7:00AM - 1:00PM
    • 1:00PM - 7:00PM

 

You will be comfortable as the go-to person on our Gym floor, easily connect with our members and work with them to achieve greater fitness and wellbeing. Health and fitness is part of who you are, not just your job, you are a team player and maintain high standards in the way you work and engage with others.

 

What we need from you:

 

  • Certificate III in fitness (Fitness Trainer)
  • Certificate IV in fitness (Preferred)
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Current CPR Certificate
  • Current AusREPS Registration
  • WWCC

Recreation


Our Recreation Team is a close-knit community of energetic people-people, with a passion for staying active and helping others. From our Duty Managers and Customer Service Officers, to our Instructors and Coordinators, the team are responsible for transforming our 24 Recreation Centres into warm, inclusive and safe spaces – providing access to health, fitness and recreation opportunities for those who need it most.
