We are looking for someone who wants to and has the capability to do both, and be part of an amazing team at our The Y Mt Annan. You will join a small team of enthusiastic sport fanatics who have a true energy for success and eagerness to support the local community.

 

About the role:


Reporting to the Programs Coordinator you will be responsible in providing high quality well planned lessons, encouraging developing skills in the sport as well as providing a fun and safe environment for learning and meeting friends for students.  The successful candidate will be available to work various shifts across 7 days a week including sschool holidays.

 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

 

  • Basketball coaching experience 
  • Coaching accreditation (desirable)
  • First Aid certificate
  • Current CPR

 

Recreation

 

Our Recreation Team is a close-knit community of energetic people-people, with a passion for staying active and helping others. From our Duty Managers and Customer Service Officers, to our Instructors and Coordinators, the team are responsible for transforming our 24 Recreation Centres into warm, inclusive and safe spaces – providing access to health, fitness and recreation opportunities for those who need it most.
