We are looking for a Learn to Play instructor at our brand new Penrith Site to assist with our after school programs. Applicants must have availability weekday afternoons and Thursday mornings. You will join a small team of enthusiastic sport fanatics who have a true energy for success and eagerness to support the local community.  


 

 

About the role

 

The Penrith Gymnastics and Sports Centre opened in June 2025 and offers Recreational Gymanstics, Competitive Gymnastics and more! Our staff prides themselves in delivering quality sports programs in Gymnastics and more in our multi-disciplinary centre! As a Learn to Play Instructor, you will be responsible for leading engaging and age-appropriate lessons for young children, focusing on basic skills, sportsmanship, and fun.
 

 


Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Leading after school programs for children, ages 5-16, in a safe, encouraging, and fun environment
  • Ensuring the smooth operation of each class and maintaining a positive atmosphere
  • Providing instruction in gymnastics fundamentals, teamwork, and fitness
  • Building strong relationships with children, parents, and the community
     

 

 

About You

 

You are passionate about working with children and sports, and you thrive in a positive, energetic setting. You’re not just an instructor – you’re a mentor, someone who inspires kids to build confidence through sports. Help inspire the next generation of players while fostering a positive, supportive environment for our community’s youth.
 
As a Learn to Play Instructor, you'll be the first point of contact for young learners and their families, guiding them through fun, skill-building sessions that promote teamwork, coordination, and a love for the game.   

 


You will also come with the following 

  • Current CPR and First aid certificate
  • Passion for coaching kids and seeing them exceed
