We are looking for energetic School PE Instructors to join the team at Revesby YMCA.


Working within school hours anywhere between 9am-3pm Monday to Friday, we are looking at offering the successful candidates around 2-3 shifts per week and each shift would be approximately 2-3 hours.

 

 

About your new role


You will be assisting with hands on running of programs (Dry Land, School PE and School holiday clinics), ensuring these meet the social needs of a diverse and growing community by encouraging maximum participation and promoting a healthy lifestyle. Part of this role will also involve building a successful partnership and open communication lines with the community/Schools and provide leadership, direction and supervision for all participants to ensure that lesson plans and expectations are adhered to.

 

 

What you will come with

 

  • Current First Aid certificate
  • Current CPR
  • Knowledge of various sports

 

What we would like you to come with (preferred but not essential)

 

  • Certificate or Diploma in Sport and Recreation or equivalent 
  • Previous experience with School PE programs
  • Drivers License 
  • Level 1 Coaching Certificate in any sports
