•    Leading our Netball competitions and assisting with other centre program needs
•    Leading and assisting other customer service officers as well as liaising with referees coordinators  

We are looking for a vibrant leader to be part of a small but connected team at Ryde Community Sports Centre . We are looking for someone who can maintain but also grow our various netball competitions within the centre, as well as promote growth and maximise our staff performance. 

You will be primarily responsible for driving new business and ensuring current programs maintain or improve in quality with the aim of program best practices, and leading various teams within our centre to ensure our community is served to the best of our ability.
About the role
The Programs Team Leader Netball will be an efficient well-organised, self-motivated person, showing strong commitment to staff and training. Emphasis on leadership and motivation in a challenging environment will require excellent communication and presentation skills. You will drive innovation within the team to meet professional development expectations within your team.

You will be responsible for organisation, administration and match scheduling of the designated competitions including player registrations.
▪ need to liaise closely with the relevant team captains and players and maintain a constant and efficient flow of information.
▪ need to ensure that all financial aspects related to the competitions are appropriately and efficiently dealt with.

You will provide opportunities for netball/outdoor participation and membership growth within the program areas in the centre, with a focus on growth, development, and assistance with current or future competitions. You will also be responsible for ensuring all staff are up to date in their training and performing to a high standard. With the responsibility to continuously review our netball/outdoor competitions, you will improve the performance of competitions which will increase players satisfaction and experience.
For this role, we are looking for someone who can do at least 22 hours per week working a flexible roster across mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends as required. The Shift for the role may include:

•    Monday- 5:30PM- 10:45M
•    Wednesday- 5:00PM- 11:15PM
•    Thursday- 10:00AM- 2:30PM
•    Saturday- 8:00AM- 3:30PM

What you will come with:
•    Previous experience in an administrative/customer service role
•    Previous experience as a Netball Team Leader
•    Knowledge of Community Recreation
•    Relevant tertiary qualifications or experience
•    Valid First Aid & CPR
•    Working with Children Check
•    Netball experience


Would be great for you to have:
•    Experience in the development of staff and implementation of business development projects
•    Demonstrated staff supervision and leadership

•    Netball referee qualifications or experience
