Our Springwood Service is looking for a dynamic Educator who is ready to take on the next step in his or her career.
Working closely with the Coordinator at the Service you will be responsible with assisting the Coordinator in delivering a high quality OSHC program.

We are looking for someone who is willing to contribute towards the service operations, providing leadership and positive role modelling to the OSHC children whilst supporting quality practices.

At the Springwood OSHC service we deliver quality education programs and daily routines including spontaneous experiences which meet the needs and interests of each child.

You will assist in daily preparations of activities along with building meaningful relationships with children and families.

Ongoing mentoring will be provided with opportunities to take on responsibilities of operating the service and leading a team of Educators yourself.

 

Roster:

 
Monday to Friday - Before School - 7:00 am to 9:00 am
                               After School -     3:00 pm  to 6.:30 pm  

 

About your new role

 

 

  • You can expect to join a supportive team and have adequate resources to deliver high quality and age-appropriate programming for Children visiting our services.
  • As a small service of two to three Educators you will have a key role to play in the successful operations of each session.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

 

 

  • Experience interacting and supervising children.
  • Exposure to working with children in a similar role.
  • Availability to work both before and after school hours.
  • Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • HLTAID004 /HLTAID012 - Current First Aid
  • HLTAID009 / HLTAID001- Current CPR
  • Working with Children Check

Childcare Services

Our Children Services Team are the passionate leaders giving developing young minds the opportunity to learn, grow and have fun outside of school. Across 53 schools in NSW, our team of OSHC Educators and Coordinators provide before and after school (and school holiday) care that’s dedicated to the safety and development of young children. Every day, the team facilitate and run a range of valuable programs and activities that include sport, creative arts, cooking – and many more.
