The rare opportunity has opened for an experienced and energetic full time Frontline Customer Service Coordinator to join the team at the Y - Stomlo Leisure Centre. The successful candidate will support the team and provide strategic leadership and direction.

 

About the role


The Frontline Customer Service Coordinator is responsible for providing strategic leadership, developing training and mentoring procedures and leading a strong culture of excellent sales and customer service. This position incorporates a sales focus, which involves; leveraging the business, penetrating new markets and driving membership sales along with the development of innovative concepts and campaigns to attract business growth to assist the Management Team to reach centre income targets. 

 

The Frontline Coordinator oversees teams comprised of Customer Service Officers, Birthday Party Leaders, Cafe and Merchandise sales and Crèche Assistants. The Frontline Coordinator will oversee around 15-20 employees.

 

This position is a combination of a front-facing role at the front desk, with a focus on also continuously monitor and improve membership, accounts, debtors and admin processes.

 

The successful applicant will be required to work a flexible 38 hour a week roster from 9:00AM - 7:00PM, Monday to Friday, including weekend work based on business needs.

  • Complete knowledge and understanding of reception, sales and customer service
  • Passion for building a positive and productive team culture
  • The ability to deal with a potentially busy and demanding environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in directing business growth
  • Proven results in innovative and effective communication strategies
  • Computer skills and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • Working with Children Check
  • Previous experience in a similar role
