About the role
Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will oversee the operation of Outside School Hours Care services in our Western Sydney region. Leading, developing and inspiring a team of Coordinators and Educators will be an integral part of your role as you boost and enhance the overall performance of these services.
This hands-on role will also see you implement strategies to deliver consistent, quality programming, planning and supervision, ensuring compliance with the Education and Care National Safeguarding Regulations, organisational policies, and procedures.
We will also look to you to enhance the Y NSW’s profile and positive reputation within the local community.
About you
You will be a self-motivated, effective manager and leader, who shows initiative and has a positive, flexible approach to challenges. Your excellent communication skills allow you to provide clear management direction and lead from the front.

Key Selection Criteria:
•    Leadership experience of 3 to 5 years in a similar environment (Children Services)
•    Experience managing teams of 6 to 8 people
•    Excellent time management skills
•    Extensive experience supervising operations across multiple sites
•    Comprehensive planning and stakeholder management experience
•    Strong problem-solving skills
•    Ability to travel between sites
•    Open to work remotely and face to face
Qualifications / Other Requirements
•    CHCPRT001 accreditation - ‘Identify and respond to children and young people at risk’ and a driver’s licence are essential
•    HLTAID004 accreditation- ‘Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting’
•    An in-depth understanding of the National Quality Framework
•    Experience in managing and developing teams
•    A strong understanding of My Time Our Place

Childcare Services

Our Children Services Team are the passionate leaders giving developing young minds the opportunity to learn, grow and have fun outside of school. Across 53 schools in NSW, our team of OSHC Educators and Coordinators provide before and after school (and school holiday) care that’s dedicated to the safety and development of young children. Every day, the team facilitate and run a range of valuable programs and activities that include sport, creative arts, cooking – and many more.
