Are you ready to take the next step in your project management career?

Join Y NSW’s Transformation Program, an ambitious initiative to reshape the organisation and positively impact the lives of children and young people across New South Wales. As a Project Delivery Coordinator, you’ll balance project administration with hands-on delivery responsibilities, working across diverse initiatives that contribute to our North Star Vision.

This role offers the opportunity to own smaller projects, support the delivery of larger ones, and play a pivotal part in our transformation journey. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation, develop practical solutions, and help us meet critical timelines.

About Your Role

You’ll work closely with the Transformation Program Director and PMO Manager to:

  • Deliver projects: Manage smaller projects or components of larger ones, taking ownership of planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Drive progress: Assist business owners by coordinating project updates, running review meetings, and tracking progress.
  • Streamline processes: Use Microsoft Teams and other tools to improve reporting, dependency management, and overall project efficiency.
  • Support the transformation: Play a key role in monthly reporting, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring projects align with strategic priorities.

This is a hands-on role for someone ready to step up and make an impact, with the balance of 60% coordination and 40% delivery work.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who:

  • Has experience in project coordination or is an aspiring project manager ready to step into a broader role.
  • Excels in stakeholder management, communication, and planning.
  • Can handle the administrative requirements of projects, while rolling up their sleeves to deliver tangible outcomes.
  • Is comfortable working with technology and tools like Microsoft Teams for reporting and collaboration.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with clear mentoring and direction.
