We are currently looking for a Streetgym Instructor to deliver Streetgym activities and group facilitation.
About the role:
We are currently looking for a Streetgym Instructor to join our Streetgym program. Streetgym is a youth program run in public parks and reserves, aimed at youth aged 12+, which uses sports and fitness activities to connect with and support potentially at risk youth. We provide a safe space and an opportunity for the young people to connect with youth workers and other supportive organisations.
Streetgym operates every week during the school terms, on Wednesday 3-6pm at Telopea. This is an ongoing program for the next 6 months, and this role will require you to attend during this time.
To be successful in this role, you will have
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current CPR
- Passion for working with youth
- Willingness to assist with creating an exciting and creative program
- Ability to have empathy, patience, and a positive nature towards others
- Interest in sports, health and wellbeing
