About the role 

 

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Account officer/Bookkeeper to join 

our team. As a key member responsible for financial management, your role will 

encompass the following tasks: 

  

Bookkeeping: 

 

  • Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including but not limited to bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, and maintaining accurate financial records. 

  • Handle payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payments to employees. 

  • Stay updated on payroll regulations and compliance requirements. 

  • Prepare and distribute invoices to customers. 

  • Oversee and manage purchase orders 

  • Generate and analyse financial reports, budget and cash-flow forecast and expenditure analysis to provide insights for business decision-making. 

  • Compliance reporting & payments (but not limited to) payroll tax, income tax, GST and FBT etc 

  

Office Administration: 

 

  • Oversee email correspondence efficiently. 

  • Assist in client and work processes management. 

  • Handle general office administration tasks. 

  

Skills and experience: 

 

  • Demonstrated proficiency in using Xero accounting software. 

  • Prior experience in a similar role. 

  • Proficient in utilising the MS Office Suite. 

  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
