About the role
You will be working with a passionate and dedicated team, including the Chief Finance Officer, Head of Program Integration, Grants & Tenders, and Business Unit General Managers, to ensure program alignment and fundraising readiness.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, delivering, and coordinating fundraising campaigns, donor development, and philanthropic engagement.
- Coordinate storytelling, supporter communications, and digital collateral.
- Develop engagement strategies for mid-tier donors and regular givers.
- Maintain CRM records and donor data.
- Ensure all fundraising activities align with financial controls and ethical practices.
This role offers the chance to lead impactful fundraising initiatives, engage with a supportive community, and contribute to the financial sustainability of the Y NSW.
About You
You are an experienced fundraising professional with a knack for donor engagement and campaign coordination and have a genuine interest in working for a profit-for-purpose organisation dedicated to empowering young people and communities.
You are a goal-oriented individual who can set and achieve ambitious goals, craft compelling narratives, and tailor messages to target audiences across a range of channels.
- Experience in fundraising, donor engagement and relationship management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience coordinating campaigns and associated governance and fundraising standards.
- Collaborative working style able to build relationships internally and externally.
- Familiarity with grant processes or proposal development.
- Understanding of not-for-profit governance and fundraising standards.
