About the role

 

Be part of the dynamic Aquatics team on the MidCoast and make a difference to the Tea Gardens Community. The Centre Coordinator will be an efficient well-organised, self-motivated person, showing strong commitment to staff, working as a team member and training and development working on a rotational Monday - Sunday roster.

 

Reporting to the Cluster Manager, your role will be to assist in the effective and efficient delivery of administration and systems, customer service, community programs, management of staff and operations and maintenance of facilities.  With a vision to ensure maximum community participation, this strategic position will add value and build capacity to meet the targets and key performance indicators outlined in the Business Plan Objectives.

 

You will also come with:

 

  • Technical Pool Operations Certificate
  • Current Pool Lifeguard Qualifications
  • First Aid & CPR certificate
  • Focus on administration and customer service
  • The ability to effectively plan, prioritise and organise one's own time and work commitments
  • Knowledge of Work Health & Safety practices and Risk Management principle

Recreation


Our Recreation Team is a close-knit community of energetic people-people, with a passion for staying active and helping others. From our Duty Managers and Customer Service Officers, to our Instructors and Coordinators, the team are responsible for transforming our 24 Recreation Centres into warm, inclusive and safe spaces – providing access to health, fitness and recreation opportunities for those who need it most.
