Our Outdoor Education and Camping Team create unforgettable experiences for schools, youth and young people in need. We are now looking for a Catering Assistant to come join the team at our camp site to provide good quality meals and outstanding customer service to our guests.

• Deliver a high quality of meals for guests
• Have a full understanding of Food Safety
• Provide catering and customer service for our beautiful site located on the heritage listed Armory Lodges precinct withing the grounds of Sydney Olympic Park

About your new role:

This is a casual role with Sydney Olympic Park Lodges.  We are looking for a hospitality all rounder who is happy to work both independently or within the team.  

The ideal candidate will be willing to jump in and help wherever required with the opportunity to work duty manager shifts for the right person.

 Key tasks will include:

•     Meal preparation and food service
•     Catering to meet dietary requirements
•     Outstanding customer service to ensure guests needs are met
•     Accommodation check in/out support

As this is a casual role, the successful candidates will be required to work across a 7-day rotating roster. 
Examples of shift times are below, however please note these are just guidelines.
 
•    Early morning   5:00AM - 9:00AM
•    Day                  10:00AM - 2:00PM
•    Evening            4:00PM - 9:00PM
 
Weekend work will be required. To be successful in this role, you must be available to work various early morning, day and evening shifts. 

Additionally, we are looking for someone who is available for minimum 15 hours per week.

You will come with:

• A willingness to work as part of a team
• Customer Service experience
• Own Transport
• Need to be reliable and committed
   

To be a stand out candidate you will have:

• Previous food safety experience.
