About the Role:
At the Y, we’re after a passionate and energetic go-getter with a love of creating memorable moments to provide our young campers with inspiring experiences, a strengthened sense of self and community, and a greater connection to our natural and peaceful environment.
In this collaborative and rewarding role, the Program Coordinator is responsible for the development and implementation of safe, inclusive, and engaging Camp experiences for schools, youth, and community groups. With outstanding attention to detail and creative flare, this purposeful, administrative role involves liaising with the community to coordinate Camp experiences that focus on achieving inclusive best practice, lots of fun, and the highest possible impact on our young people!

Industry Experience:
- Program Coordination/Administrative experience in a community setting
- Rostering experience in a fast-paced environment
- Working with youth, or children with disabilities, and/or a lived experience
- Implementation of continuous improvement strategies and quality assurance practices
- Experience working in a Camp environment would be an advantage, but not essential
Certifications/Qualification:
- HLTAID004 (Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting)
- Current CPR qualification.
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) [or a commitment to obtain prior to starting]
- Police Check
Outdoor Education and Camping
Our Outdoor Education and Camping Team create unforgettable experiences for schools, youth and young people in need. From our energetic Outdoor Education Instructors to our friendly Housekeepers, Chefs and Administrators, our people build inspiring, entertaining and educational adventures that encourage healthy behaviours in developing kids.
