At the Y, we’re after passionate and adventurous go-getters with a love of all things outdoors to provide our young campers with unforgettable experiences, a strengthened sense of self and community, and a greater connection to our natural and peaceful environment. 

We are searching for an accomplished and experienced Outdoor Education Manager. You’ll be responsible for the development and implementation of safe, inclusive, engaging, and outstanding Camp experiences for schools, youth, and community groups. This role includes overseeing the safe implementation of activities such as rock climbing, abseiling, giant swing, flying fox, ropes courses, and fun group intitiatives, while ensuring compliance with all Outdoor Industry regulations and providing critical support to the team to deliver the ultimate Camp experience to our customers.

Qualifications

• Recognised Industry Certification/s in Outdoor Education/Recreation and in activities such as rock climbing, abseiling, and ropes courses
• Current Remote First Aid certification and/or HLTAID0012, or willigness to obtain prior to commencement
• Current CPR qualification or willigness to obtain prior to commencement
• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
